On November 6, 2025, Zhu Zi, Deputy Mayor of Wuhu City, led a delegation to Germany and jointly inaugurated the "Wuhu City Office in Germany" with Dr. Hu, President of the DISCIMUS Sino-German Education Institute, in Frankfurt. The inauguration ceremony was held at the headquarters of the DISCIMUS Sino-German Education Institute.

In his speech, Deputy Mayor Zhu Zi stated that Wuhu City attaches great importance to cooperation with Germany. He expressed the hope that, leveraging the platform of the Wuhu City Office in Germany, both sides could further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as industrial manufacturing, corporate investment, technological innovation, educational exchanges, and industrial talent cultivation, so as to continuously enhance the city's level of international cooperation.

 胡博士表示，驻德办事处落户研究院既是信任也是责任。未来研究院将发挥中德桥梁作用，促进企业、人才与技术资源双向流动，推动中德合作实现开放、互利与共赢。

此次驻德办事处的正式设立，标志着芜湖市对德合作迈入新的阶段，也为中德产业协同与城市间深层合作奠定了坚实基础。
