China–Germany Talent Promotion Association Officially Established in Germany

On October 26, 2025, the inaugural meeting and inauguration ceremony of the China–Germany Talent Promotion Association was successfully held in Oberursel, Germany.
The event was hosted by the DISCIMUS Institute. Distinguished guests, including Ms. Tang Liwen and Ms. Xue Yun from the Education Office of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Frankfurt, Ms. Antje Runge, Mayor of Oberursel, as well as representatives from the political, educational, and business communities of both China and Germany, attended the ceremony and jointly inaugurated the Association.
Building on the DISCIMUS Institute’s many years of experience in Sino-German educational and talent exchange, the China–Germany Talent Promotion Association aims to establish a cross-cultural and cross-sector platform for talent cooperation, promoting deeper exchanges and coordinated development between China and Germany in the fields of education, science and technology, economy, and culture.
In her remarks, Mayor Antje Runge of Oberursel emphasized that talent is the driving force behind innovation and social development, and that strengthening international talent exchange is of great importance to deepening China–Germany cooperation.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the guests attended China–Germany cultural and artistic performances and participated in networking activities. The establishment of the China–Germany Talent Promotion Association marks a new stage in talent cooperation between China and Germany. The event attracted extensive attention from major Chinese media outlets, several of which published dedicated reports on the occasion.
